Dell G5 not detecting my new drivers please help!

I have the Dell G5 gaming PC and I would like to change BOTH my SSD M.2 (the one that it came with). 

And I would like to add a 1Tb HDD 

BUT IS NOT DETECTING IT

I feel very frustrated. I just want to upgrade my storage and play GTA V 

I already tried to install and troubleshoot but it just doesn't want to boot from it!

(It's already in Legacy mode) 

pls send help

it's the exact same computer as this one

Can you give us more information about the old and the new ssd? Like model numbers or part numbers.

 

M.2 SSD can be either SATA or PCIE protocol.

You need to get PCIE M.2 as that PC can only use this type, which is good as they are a lot faster than sata.

 

If you bought SATA m.2, you might have to return it, or buy a  "pcie to sata m.2" addon card and use it that way,
