setting up beef in a virtual mashene

i have been trying to set up beef in a virtual machine (it is running kali) but when i send out a link to hook some one it gives of this message(see photo) i dont know what to do to make it work it workes if i try to hook a browser in the virtual machine . i know this is probably not the best forum to ask this on. if you know another forum that will be more appropriate please let me know.

What is beef..?

 

Also 127.0.0.1 is local host… that will only work in the VM. You need to use the VM’s IP address when connecting to it from outside the VM.

127.0.0.1 is your localhost ip address, it refers to your local machine. if you're using the same thing remotely you'd at least have to navigate to that remote computer's address. if it's not on your local network you'd have to use port forwarding on that machine's router.

 

no offense but if this is your level of understanding regarding networking I'd suggest you start learning somewhere below XSS exploitation.
