5 - 15 player minecraft server for $200 or under. Local market vs new self built.

Go to solution Solved by Pixelfie,

Just get an old office PC like some Dell Optiplex with a 4th gen i5 or something. That would work good enough and probably cost like 100.

You're not gonna be able to build a new pc for 200 (excl GPU and PSU)

Budget (including currency): 200$

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft server

Other details: I have a power supply(ATX), and gtx 1050 ti for video out if needed

What is the best route to go for a smallish server that is able to handle 5 to 15 players at once. Don't need a cpu pulling over 65 watts, so lower power is better. Should I build the computer and buy new parts and if so, then what or should I look for a old computer on local market.
