Not a bad system. Biggest change I'd make is the motherboard: the MSI B660M-A Pro is a much better board for the same price.

Can't really comment on the case, mATX is a form factor I don't particularly care about for cases so don't know what the good and bad ones are.

The problem with the ASRock board is the VRM on it is quite bad, and can power throttle a lot of CPUs. With a 12400 whether it likely won't make a huge performance difference, but if you ever want to upgrade to say a 12700 or 13700, odds are the chip will power throttle quite hard and performance will be pretty bad. The MSI board has a pretty respectable VRM solution for the price, so for $10 more I'd say it's well worth it.
