In 5 months you probably want Ryzen 7000.

Ryzen 3600 @ 4.5ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | Radeon RX580 | 2x Samsung 16gb c-die 2666 @ 3600mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 9 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

The biggest thing is the CPU cooler, the 12700F is a hot chip and it will likely overwhelm the Hyper 212. Lower the motherboard to something like the B660-A Pro and put that money towards a better cooler.

Plus, if you go by Australian prices, you can get a 3070 in this system.

Ask for help within the week that you're gonna buy. Stuff changes so much that what makes sense to buy today won't make sense to buy within a week, sometimes less.

I'd recommend the WD Blue SN570 1 TB M.2. Much better bang for the buck.

OP: My PC cuts off and crashes. Is the 1000W PSU enough?  ME: 1000W is plenty, PSU or system board could be faulty. Get both tested.

OP: I don't think so, both parts were purchased last week.        😒  Why bother asking if you second-guess the advice?

Friends don't let friends use Apple.                                              NOTE: Recently diagnosed autistic. If I ruffle your feathers, please be patient.
