For some reason I thought it was all of them 😄

Same.  Both AX850 and AX1000 had issues with Ampere and those both leverage the Prime Platinum.

Gentlemen? Wait a minute. I think you have misunderstood something.
I did not exchange it and bought a new one from AMAZON.
The reason is that I could not exchange it.

What was the reason that you couldn't use warranty for your first PSU with the issue?

Jesus, what a long annoying thread.

Dude, think of it like this.  People start to have problems with the power supply, and RMA them or open tickets which are passed by the tech support people to the actual engineers.

The engineers test things and talk directly to the people and maybe suggest sending a replacement cable kit instead of RMAing the heavy power supply, as a TEMPORARY measure. The support people are out of the loop, they no longer know what happens. Because it's a temporary or case-by-case fix, the engineers don't update the documentation that's sent to the people who answer support tickets (people who could be in a totally different office or who may even be employees of a third party company answer tickets for multiple companies).

So a short while later, they figure out what to tweak in the power supply, maybe a resistor or maybe they add an extra capacitor or a ferrite bead on the 12v sense wire, a minor change, and from that point when people RMA power supplies, they do this fix and send the power supply back with the original cables.

Nobody lies to you, I don't think they do.

The distributor doesn't know, and doesn't get updates from Seasonic about such fixes.

The support people that answer to tickets can only tell you the "official" line ... they open up an internal wiki or some database, look for the power supply model and they don't see there anything mentioned about "replacing cables", so they answer to the best of their knowledge that there's no policy or any rule telling them about replacing cables.

The cable replacement temporary solution offered directly by engineers maybe never got through all the way to the support ticket answering people, or they may even not be allowed to admit that cables were sent, because maybe they don't want to establish a precedent or something like that.

You got pictures here showing which wire is the sense wire, so you could easily buy a pin extractor tool and pull out that sense wire, and test your power supply with and without that sense wire installed in the connector.

この問題で最初のPSUの保証を使用できなかった理由は何ですか?

They responded that they did not have "everything" in the original item I returned. Perhaps I was missing "something" that I needed. Here is the answer.
And I was forced to buy a "new" June 2021 model.
I bought "new" as they said.
They, Seasonic, owe me support.

I'd like to add.
I have not removed any cables from the case.
I only replaced the unit, so the cables are still there.

I bought the new one on Steam, Sniper Elite 5.
This game seems to require more "GPU performance".
It's over 10GB at 1440p ultra setting....
Guess I got the game to check for possible shutdowns!
This game will put a reasonable strain on the GPU.

Was this Seasonic global? Or the local seller in Japan? That's is so odd. My experience in my country, Seasonic through their local service partner/distributor said to send back only the PSU. No cables, no box, no bag.

After they tested for a few weeks (3-4 weeks from memory), they then sent me a brand new sealed box PX-850. So I actually have 2 sets of cables now, but I won't mix and match since they are from old (2018) and new (2021) versions.

I agree...
This starting to somewhat feel like a crusade or witch hunt.
What makes it worse for me is that the OP doesn't have any qualm about using people's name without permission.

While I can understand if it's about stuffs blowing up, but that kinda thing will surely make enough ripple and noise throughout the whole community.
Possible shutdowns......., me, i'd rather just buy another PSU from another brand if I don't trust it enough that it won't do shutdown.

And just like @Sleepycat3 said, if RMA is still possible, I'll RMA it until I can no longer RMA it. xD

Unfortunately, the distributor in my country requires that all accessories be 100% complete for replacement. This may vary from country to country.
This is why I took out a hardship and took out a 24 loan to purchase the unit. The current power supply requires a commitment not to shut down. Reason for sticking with it.

You may not be able to read this because it is in Japanese, but "Owltec", the Seasonic distributor in my country, has finally acknowledged the circumstances of this shutdown.

Here, take a look.
From past 2022/03/22 23:16:19 until 2022/05/28 12:55:17 A.M.
100% no trace of the shutdown exists.
This is the best evidence we have.
I have experimented over and over again with various tests that can be reproduced.

This thread has run its course and there's not much potential for this to progress further. As per the OP they are not experiencing this issue and Seasonic has replied offering an explanation. Allowing it to go on further is just a witch hunt.

OP: if you're not experiencing any problems with your power supply then I suggest you move on and just use your computer. I'm sure you bought your PC for reasons other than complaining on forums about issues you aren't even experiencing. Stop worrying about it and go play games or edit photos or whatever it was you bought your PC to do.
