Tv for Ps5

Hi,

I just recently got my hands on a ps5 and was looking for a new tv that would do it justice. Preferably under $400 if that is possible. Any recommendations/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also this is my first post so I don't know if I put it in the right category.

Have you considered a gaming monitor instead?

I have a decent gaming monitor, but want a larger screen for easy access for me and my girlfriend. Right now only one of us can be on my pc or the ps5 at a time

What size are you looking for? If you're not sure, I'd recommend this tool.

I prefer the "THX Suggestion", but to achieve this with my 55" LG CX, I did have to bring my couch in closer. It makes the room look kind of weird, but it's worth it.

I'd recommend you do some research on RTings.com to find what you're looking for, but from a quick look, these would be my two recommendations assuming you're looking for a "mid size" TV of about 50"

https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/tcl/5-series-s546-2021-qled#page-test-results

Personally though, as I was once in your shoes, I bought a cheap used 1080p plasma TV and waited until I could get an OLED. I still think my old Plasma outdoes most budget 4k TV's and it cost me $40 for 50" instead of $400. There are obvious drawbacks with plasma, power consumption, limited to 1080p (though it looks sharper than any other 1080p you've seen), and risk of burn in/chance of already being a bit burned in, but you can test that before purchasing.
