2080ti Thermal Pad replacements

Skiiwee29

Alright,

So I have been googling around and can't seem to find the actual sizes of the thermal pads on my EVGA 2080ti XC Black edition, Part Number: 11G-P4-2281-KR. Going to be placing the air cooler back on this card in a few weeks as it's been under water for nearly 3 years, so the original pads are likely dried out and bad at this point having been exposed to the air this whole time in storage. So I need to figure out what size pads I need to order.

You can buy sheets and cut them to size manually.  That's what I do.

you did ask for size instead of thickness

that said, I've no clue on what thickness that card uses, but you can probably measure it, thermal pads dont really dry out, no? they're oil, not water or something that dries easily

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

SNIP

I did see that in a thread, but that was for a water block install. Those sometimes have different thicknesses they use compared to stock with the air cooler, so unsure.

That's exactly what you asked...  I would hope that a mod here knows how to properly express themselves.

Anyway...  1.5 mm is the thickness you would want.
