He wouldn't tell you that Corsair RM is better here to not sound like he's shilling Corsair, because he works there and RM was IIRC, his project. 12V load regulation isn't really bad on XPG Core Reactor and static load regulation doesn't really matter all that much to start with (not when it's 1.5% vs 0.5%). Transient response matters more, and it's pretty much on par with everything in this price range there. Overall, Corsair RM is still somewhat better, it's quieter at least, has a semi-passive mode, so it worth paying a bit more. But they're both good.
