Power switch not working. Also tried shorting the pins to turn on PC still no power on

FalseControl

So I have an AsRock b450M steel legend that I used and I just upgraded MB and Case to an ATX and midsize case. Bought some old parts to build a second PC. Everything installed and I see LED's on the GPU and the MB when i flip the PSU switch then hit power and nope! I thought maybe I had things plugged in wrong but nothing worked. Even tried shorting the 2 pins with screwdriver. Also no. I am at a sort of loss here... Tried changing which pins the power leads are on and nothin. What should I try next?

Is the PSU working?

sounds stupid but check if the switch is in position 1 and it's plugged, it happens.
