Design Something

I have a laptop with a broken display and I want to convert it to a mini desktop PC. This is the 3D project for the case.

Looks really nice! Is this a mock up or an actual product?

Thanks! I will build it. This 3d is for measurements and see how it looks. I will 3d print the back case and I will use brass and balsa wood

What CAD software are you using?

I use 3d Max for designing and Ultimaker Cura for printing

Look how curious, I have a notebook with a good configuration, but the case broke, and since I have a 3D printer, and I know a little about 3D modeling,
I was looking on the internet for models so I could be inspired and make one for myself,

and I ended up getting here,
Could you show me how the final process of building your CASE model turned out?
if he still exists hahahaha

That is clean AF. I took scraps from old monitors(Older monitors have large plexiglass sheets inside of them) and chopped them and sanded them. then bolted it all together. The laptops power button is integrated into the keyboard so I just flipped it upside down and screwed it to the underside of the top plexiglass piece. Took the antennas from an broke router and connected them to the NIC. I took a broken $150 gaming laptop and turned it into a gaming desktop. The only money I spent was $150 on the laptop because the screen was gone, a ram upgrade $20 for 8gb ddr4 2400mhz bring it to 16GB dual channel and a Silicon Power Nvme m.2 512gb SSD from amazon I paid $30 for. Runs like a dream. 8th gen i5 and a GTX 1050 4gb. The dimensions are 14"x6.5"x1 7/8". The red LEDs on top are from the keyboard the ones are the bottom are from an RGB strip.
