Can’t access BIOS menu with CSM disabled

I have recently attempted to turn on secure boot to be able to play Val, but whenever CSM is disabled, I cannot access the BIOS menu. I can access it again after resetting BIOS through the CMOS battery, but then CSM is reenabled. Is there any way to fix this?

My pc build is:

- Gigabyte Z390 UD

- Intel i5 9600KF

- Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3200

- NVIDIA RTX 2060 Super, MSI Twin Frozr 7

- Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB NVMe SSD

- Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SATA SSD

- A Hitachi TV made around 2015, I don’t know the exact model/year. This TV is also connected directly to my GPU through an HDMI to HDMI cable, and I do not have a DP cable to try. I have tried to use a different TV, but that one doesn’t work either.

With CSM disabled will this get you into the BIOS?

If so be glad, cus then only people that know your logon credentials can acces your BIOS. 😉

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

Sadly, it just shows a black screen, after which I have to restart my computer to go back to normal.

Did you find a solution?

I've a i5 9400f, rtx 2060 and if i disable csm support i can't log into the bios no more, also I get 5 short beeps when trying to boot (partition is gpt, OS uefi, fast boot disable).

I swapped the gpu for a gtx 760 and everything works fine with csm disable.

It's driving me insane.

Did you ever find a fix to this? I'm currently experiencing this while attempting to play val and it's really frustrating me because I hate the look of Windows 11 however I love Valorant. I can't access my bios at all after disabling CSM so I guess I'll have to resort to your tactic.
