Samsung 870 Evo SSD keeps disappearing from File Manager

First of all I'm not really much of a tech guy, so please excuse my poor lingo.

My Samsung SSD keeps disconnecting/disappearing from my file manager. It is a 1tb ssd and I noticed that once it disappears, if I reboot my computer it will show up again. However, at around 2 hours of my system be on, the SSD will disappear again. It is pretty new as I only bought it 2 months ago. 

 

Some backstory on what I think might be a problem is my computer recently had a failing PSU. While gaming on that SSD, I noticed a burning smell and it was coming from the PSU. I replaced it with a Corsair 750W psu, and reconnected all of the cables. Right after replacing my PSU is when the disappearing SSD happened. (The old PSU did not shut off/crash my computer, it was still powering my computer while it had the burning smell). It is also important to note that the PCI/e cable that came with the new PSU had 4 available connections routed as 1 cable and I used all 4 connections for different HDD/SSDs.

 

I used Samsung Magician to check the health of the SSD and it was functioning normally. The games on the SSD however would not load up. 

I tried unplugging/replugging all of the cables, but the SSD is still going away after a while.

 

My rig is:

Motherboard - MSI Z87 G55

CPU - Intel i5 4670k

GPU - Nvidia GTX 1080

PSU - Corsair 750W Bronze 

 

Any ideas on how to fix this?

You did replace all the PSU cables (if modular), right?

It is a fully modular PSU, yes. The PCI/e cable attached to my HDD/SSDs are from the new PSU.

also forgot to mention that my old PSU is i think semi modular? It had 2 big cables attached to the PSU itself. Whereas the new PSU has slots where you can plug stuff in
