Can you change the way it connects, by using another wired or wireless connection?

It might be the network hardware.

Hi everyone. I have a problem with my brothers PC

Since Saturday (the 22. of January) his PC can only connect to some websites (Bing, Google, YouTube, Facebook)

I tried basically everything. I checked settings. I updated the BIOS. I reinstalled Windows. I replaced the Ethernet Cable. I even tried the Ubuntu Live enviroment. Nothing helped. Everytime the same Problem.

Every other device in the House is fine and can still connect just fine.

Anyone got any Ideas?

I tried a USB Ethernet Adapter and now it works again.

 

So yes. It was the Hardware.
