M.2 help

So I’ve got an x570 msi mother board for starts. And a 1tb sata m.2 coupled with a standard 2 tb ssd(ssd is my boot drive). For some reason my m.2 is detected in bios and device manager. But I can’t use it. It doesn’t show up as a storage option under this pc. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Feel like there’s a stupid solution but I feel like I’ve tried everything.

Update nvm. Finally figured it out. I feel really dumb. Had to open disk management and add simple volume to allocate it. My B

Im having the same problem but struggle to follow computer vocabulary so you explain this maybe a little more step by step?
