My network has gone to sh*t after i built my new computer and im so frustrated!

Magnus S

After i built my pc, my life has been hell!
My network is constantly being disconnected on ethernet on my pc. This happens sometimes only for my PC and sometimes for all devices connected to the switch.

The network on my pc seems useless sometimes, maxing out at 30 mbps and sometimes its at the full 600 mbps, but only after i have actively done something to fix it.

A couple of minutes ago my whole switch were just blinking yellow and the wifi on my computer didnt connect either, even though its not related to the switch.
My brother is playing ps5 right next to me and is fine, but he is not connected to that switch.

So i have 2 questions.
What can i do to fix the network adapter on my pc if thats the issue?
Also
How can my PC ruin the network for my other devices.

All connected via ethernet.

Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z690-F GAMING WIFI Hovedkort - Intel Z690
Network adapter: Intel Ethernet Controller (3) I225-V

Im so so so angry, i cant even describe this feeling.

If there's an IP conflict on your network (two devices are requesting the same IP) it can absolutely cause issues with other devices. Is your PC setup with a static IP? Have you tried swapping the ethernet cable (It's uncommon but ethernet cables can be bad causing noise on your network)? Have you tried updating your computers network drivers?
