New Monitor help

I'm looking for a 1440p 240hz 27" Monitor for Competitive games. I'm currently looking at Samsung G7 and Alienware AW2721D Anyone else have any other suggestions?

 

I don't care about ergonomics because I'm gonna mount it. 

 

I just want performance.

whats your budget, preferred size, and preferred hertz?

I have an unlimited budget tbh, less than £600 would be preferred but I could go higher if I deem it worth the extra.

 

240hz is my preferred refresh rate.

27 inch is my preferred size.

the Asus PG279QM is the best 27" 240hz monitor

Die-hard competitive or do you want an overall versatile monitor also fit for other games?

 

If just for competitive playing, the Viewsonic XG2431 will offer everything higher-end options will in terms of input lag, response times, motion clarity, backlight strobing, etc.

 

If the Viewsonic isn't available, the Asus VG259QM is the next best option:

 

If you want a more versatile monitor with better picture quality, higher resolution, better color accuracity, etc. the Asus PG279QM is as good as it gets for 27" 1440p 240Hz.
