@colonel_mortisHere's something odd

Notice the reaction file was transparent?

image.png.e54a7f72ff2ea707a54a22afda601f03.png

But if you look closely, you can see it has a brown background

image.png.34ecfc1fa3a280dd3d6cb0ab11cf35b5.png

See?

It's not brown, it's grey. That is working as intended, the background was added with CSS (and the same image is used for both light and dark mode).

Browser, version and OS: https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/b/KBA6V/download/ransomware/noescape

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

Simply. Turn in dark mode.

What happened?

The surrounding area around "Reaction" button simply disappear. It will only appear again if I click on it, or go back to light mode.

What did you expect to happen?

There'll be a gray surrounding area around that button.

Any other relevant details:

When I check the color of the surrounding area (by developer mode) of that button, it show transparent.

But when check the color, it show grey.

(no image sadly)

EXPLAIN! DEVELOPERS!

If it's a cloudflare error, what was the ray ID from the bottom of the error page?

That's definitely intentional. If anything, I'd argue that the light mode reaction button is the one that's wrong. It's the only button on either theme with a surround.image.thumb.png.a36c24f04b544e99de0712f89c737b35.pngimage.thumb.png.cc28ddd72586d47ee01a4189255511c2.png

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

No one is an expert and there is no bug free software. We all are humans(developers are humans too🤯) and you'll always expect some bug, especially in software this complex.

If you think I'm wrong, correct me. If I've offended you in some way tell me what it is and how I can correct it. I want to learn, and along the way one can make mistakes; Being wrong helps you learn what's right.

It's there, it's just very similar to the background colour. I vaguely remember that button being a really tough one to find a good colour for, because it shouldn't be visually striking.

See?

.ipsReact_button {
	background-color: #1A1A1A;
	opacity: 0.4;
}

I do however notice switching between Monitors that while its pretty noticeable but subtle on my main, it's not at all noticeable on my secondary, and its barely visible on my third.

Changing opacity to 0.5 makes it noticeable on the other two Monitors aligning with my usual experience on my main, but then makes it really stand out and look out of place on my main monitor.

Personally I don't think you will find a much better middle ground and think it should be left as is or just remove the color offset entirely.
