Hey everyone,

For some reason my graphics card is only using x8 of my avaliable x16 lanes in my PCI-E slot.  I'm sure the card is in there correctly since it clicked into place and don't see any exposed circuits.

Is it possibly a software issue or am I missing something?

EDIT: ISSUE FIXED! I'M A MORON who had the wifi card in the other full x16 slot.

Thanks.

Could be the power saving measures. What happens when you launch GPUZ and click that question mark next to the Bus Interface? Does it still say PCIE 3.0 X8?

It does, yes.  I also tried out the rendering test and it still says x8.  HWI64 says the same as well.

Try reseating it or trying it in a different slot. I had issues in the past reseating the CPU also solved issues identical to yours.

So I reseated the gpu and it still comes up as running in 8x mode. I also looked into the bios and saw it still saying the same
