Can't access BIOS over DisplayPort when CSM is disabled

Molot

I have quite a bizarre problem. I wanted to install Windows 11, so I disabled CSM, enabed Secure Boot and voila - everything works, except display before Windows stars. It works all right over HDMI, but it fails over DisplayPort. There's no output. Bios update tool didn't find a new BIOS version for my motherboard. I tested it, using HDMI to change settings, and Secure Boot doesn't matter, it depends solely on CSM setting.

Any ideas what can cause that issue? And how to maybe solve it? I bought HDMI cable to get things working but I am certainly not satisfied with this solution.

Why do you need CSM enabled? My GTX970 also wont display anything through DP if CSM is enabled.

It's the other way around. I need it disabled, but when it is disabled, display port does not work in bios setup.

Remove displayport and HDMI from the PC. Power off PSU. Reset CMOS. Or remove CMOS battery for 5-10 min. Plug in displayport. Go to bios and set secure boot. CSM should be disabled by default.
