Wasn't sure if that series was worth watching at all.

It is probably the most intense and entertaining show you will ever experience (within cooking)

Yeah, its modern Japan.  I manage to sneak watch the first episode on Youtube.  I'm hooked.  So, can't wait for the series to become legally available State side.  In the mean time, My Hero Academia season 2 on blu-ray will keep me busy, along with at the moment I am re-watching season 2 of Lelouch of the Rebellion.  I need to finish up Violet Evergarden though.  I like that since it got a military theme going on, and myself having military background I like how they portray the main character in that anime.

Former active duty (aircraft mech), now Guard traditional (IT) and gov contractor.

Funny enough, I have traveled more since leaving active duty.  Go figure.

Ahh, have you considered PMC work? I heard depending on what company you go to the work can be pretty lax while paying extraordinarily well.

Hey do you what you want to do it's your time after all, I personally don't enjoy traveling all that much.

Most of my work days are lax unless the system requires troubleshooting or the link.  Though, can't complain, the pay is nice and the federal holidays and weekends off are a nice bonus (the perks of supporting a training squadron).   The most I do on some days is repair headset comm cables that the students mess up.

Then again, in IT, if its a slow day, its a good day.

I'll agree on that notion having worked in IT before, when things get busy people make mistakes and tasks aren't completed. It's not fun....

I have yet to try discord.  Most I ever used was mirc or Hexchat.

Seems there are packages for it for Linux.  So, I can give it a go on my desktop.

The great thing about discord is that it's supported on various platforms, android and ios as well. The dev team does a great job and constantly updating it and adding new useful features, most groups just use it as a text chat platform though it does have voip functionality.

Sounds like some platforms I deal with in the Guard.  Though, those tend to be Enterprise level.

Anyway, got it installed.

Tokyo Ghoul would of been on this list if S3 wasn't wtf is going on. S2 was wtf but at least..

  Reveal hidden contents

S2 made some sense. Now Kaneki is this new guy, what happened to the epic battle where Kaneki most likely loses? Can someone please explain wtf is going on :(? I really liked Kaneki as a character and I really wanted to see what he'd become.

Maybe Clannad or another anime of that type of intense feels should've been in my favourites because I really really really enjoyed them but those type of anime don't really have much rewatchability (cus I can't bring myself to feel that sad again :().

The Tokyo Ghoul anime in S2 diverged from the manga, S3 is the anime trying to get back on track with the manga.

I prefer the manga since the food looks more detailed and polish and overall more aesthetic pleasing, even if it's in black and white, some how...

And the production value is still disappointing... Like the overall art direction is a polar opposite to the manga... Also instead of censored, they decided to cut away from the action entirely, which is maddening to me...

Fricken Steins;Gate 0 has better animation then Tokyo Ghoul:Re

... Life is a game and the checkpoints are your birthday , you will face challenges where you may not get rewarded afterwords but those are the challenges that help you improve yourself . Always live for tomorrow because you may never know when your game will be over ... I'm totally not going insane in anyway , shape or form ... I just have broken English and an open mind ...

I'm not quite sure whether there are more car lovers or not on this forum but they are darn more active fo suar (as of this moment and recent past). I mean if you went on it, there are only around, maybe 20 users that are actually active? Compared to anime lovers on this forum, I could easily count 20 users that have talked about anime before.
