Thanks 😄

Well there are a lot of games you can play with those cards, just not the very demanding ones.

The issue is that newer cards don't have much surface to work with (fans are in the way)

Though i can design a skin for the back-plate.

Or maybe for Waterblocks. They can be pretty boring-looking

  1. I hope you have a PCIe riser to properly show it!
  2. I think ATLUS' lawyers are pretty rabid; prepare to be SWATted. /s
  3. Only criticism I can think of - the Sapphire logo in the fan feels out of place with the skin. Maybe you could replace it with a P3 or P4A logo?

Haha yeah you're right, had a HD6950 with 6970 bios back in the day, a very capable card. And with a great price. Those where the days!

Yeah would look good! The backplate is what you see in most cases anyway.

i really like the idea,  totally fits the saphire card too, looks like something they would have sold back in the day...!

would you be able to make something for my 3070 vision oc backplate? so many holes in there it probably wouldn't be easy ( thats obviously not a commission just asking if it would be possible...)

i think its really complicated to claim copyright on artwork like this, its really just a more or less random anime character (and yes im aware it *is* an atlus character)

Nice artwork!🤩

I had a couple of HD6970's in CF mode more than a decade ago, on a QX9650 build which was my main rig back then (now gathering dust in my storeroom). I recall 'em spanking games that I'd been playing on that rig on my triple 1920x1200 monitor EyeFinity setup back then.....

I am using the card with my "8 core" FX system.

So the system is pretty much components from that era (except for the hard drive, that one is 15 years old 😄 It's a 60GB drive)

So do you charge a fee for something like this?

I have a grip of old cards that could use a make over.... not that I ever use them much lol.
