RX 460 blackscreen problem when installing the driver

I have a problem when installing the AMD rx 460 driver, after I download the driver and start installing the driver, a black screen immediately occurs, and I've tried to reinstall the driver 4 times in a row, but the same thing happens when installing a new driver, always a black screen. there are some suggestions that i should use an hdmi cable, but will the hdmi to vga converter cable work for my case? Should i buy it?
