USB 3.1 - USB Hubs don't work?

Hello.

I needed to hook up 4-way USB extension to my PC. Specific scenario.

I plugged it into USB 3.1 (red port).

I've got X299 EVGA Dark. Tried to look for drivers for it, but could find nothing of the sort.

I am wondering why it's not working? If I plug in individual things it's happy and fine.

A USB hub shouldn't need drivers. Is it a powered hub? If so, did you connect it to a power supply?

It's not the hub which needs drivers but the USB 3.1. if I try USB 3.0 everything works.

Very petty issue but is annoying haha.
