BSOD an also CPU-Z says DRAM Frequency is 666.5 MHz but Uncore Frequency is 3999.1 MHz?

Hey,

CPU-Z says DRAM Frequency is 666.5 MHz but Uncore Frequency is 3999.1 MHz?

I'm trying to fix my old PC right now and encountered this which looks really weird to me.

In Bios it is 1333 Mhz.

Oh btw I got irql less or equal and whea uncorrectable error randomly when computer is under heavy load (gaming). In Idle it's all fine.

Sometimes it also just shuts down and restart automatically without warning and no BSOD.

Already resetted windows. Ran scf /scannow. Tried going from double channel to single channel on ram - both show 3999.1 MHz. It's DDR3 btw.

Not sure what else to test now.

No OC btw and no XMP profile. Bios is default. The only thing that is changed is that my storage volume (not windows disk) is set to Raid.

It displays correctly. DDR frequency displayed on CPU-Z is for one bit, the real speed is the DDR Frequency * 2.

No, 666.5*2 is 1333.

Yes that is DRAM, sorry i wasnt clear.

That is indeed Single data rate speeds, while RAM runs at DDR speeds. doubling it.

But i was talking uncore frequency speed, top right. (or is that for CPU?)

I dont use CPU-Z that often. I was curious.
