Razer Core X Chroma With rtx 3090

Go to solution Solved by BobVonBob,

If the Core X Chroma has enough PCIe power connectors then maybe.

The problem is that while the 3090 only has a rated draw of 350 watts and the Core X Chroma supports graphics cards up to 500 watts, many 3090 cards can easily draw 400+ watts and have short spikes up to something like 600 watts, and this isn't going to make the 650 watt power supply happy. This can probably be overcome by replacing the power supply in the Core X Chroma, since that seems to be possible.

Also keep in mind you're also going to lose a significant amount of performance.
