Gpu not being recognized on new build

Stijn

I just finished my new pc build. When i tried to power it on for the first time my screen was black.

I tried updating my bios via the bios flashback option that my motherboard has.

After doing so i got a red debug LED on my motherboard.

I took the GPU from my old pc and put it in my new build so i'm confident it works.

I assume it doesn't recognize my GPU, how do i fix this?

(sorry for my bad english, im dutch)

I would check cables to the GPU, make sure the cables are fully plugged and the card is fully slotted in. I have fallen victim to a card not being fully inserted before.

thanks for your awnser.

I removed and put it back in a few times. Currently I am using the 6+2 power cable.

The rgb on my gpu turns on when I power on my pc. since their are 2 6+2 cable ends

on the same cable I also tried switching them up.
