A way to see followers on an SU

Technically you can see it by constructing the URL manually, such as https://linustechtips.com/notifications/?do=followers&follow_app=statusupdates&follow_area=status&follow_id=311722, but given the compactness of status updates there's not really anywhere to put it. The follow menu can't very easily be customized to just remove the checkbox on statuses, so it doesn't seem worth it to remove it.

Unless I'm really dumb, I am yet to find a way to see the followers on an SU. And if there is no way to see the followers, this makes no sense:
