It won't post can't get to bios

How long do you let it go? Sometimes it can take a system a few minutes upon first boot like this with a new system to post as it reads and trains everything. Also, the 5600x does not have integrated Graphics so you won't get any post or screen regardless plugging into the motherboard.

So I just finished building my first PC and plugged it in and everything for its first boot up. I press the power button and everything lights up and starts up for a few seconds and then poof it turns off for a few seconds and then starts up again. I also noticed that my gpu didn't really wanna start up and run, so I took it out and tried starting it up just using the integrated graphics thinking something might be wring with my gpu and is causing the problem, and still the same problem happens. I noticed my PSU smells a little funny but read mixed things on that, but it's the only thing I can think of. I have no way to test whether it's actually the PSU or not. Luckily its still under warranty so before I get a new one does anyone have any other ideas on what the problem could be?

Does it start up normally after this happens?

Double booting is usually a RAM and/or overclocking issue. Try resetting your BIOS to default settings and remove all but 1 stick of RAM and see if it still happens.

Must of misread something. Just tried putting my GPU back in and it finally booted, I suspect I might of had a lose cord or something the first time. Thanks for the help.
