Ram choice:G.SKILL F4-4000C18D-16GTZRB or F4-3800C18D-16GTZN ???

Hey guys, I wanted to upgrade my ram kit, i already have gskill 2x8gb 3400mhz cl16 kit, however it's not overclockable at all even though it samsung b die, tried many many settings using dram calculator it seems to be stable and it crashes randomly at time when you least expect it even though it passses memtest i don't get crashes only at stock. I would keep my ram at stock but i want extra kit to have atleast 32gb of ram and 4 sticks still give some gain in fps. But i can't find same kit on sale...  And i don't think i can get different gskill kit to make it work.

So i am planning to sell my ram kit and get two kits of 2x8gb however there is two options i got my eye on. F4-4000C18D-16GTZRB AND F4-3800C18D-16GTZN Which one would be better if price is the same?? I have x570 aorus elite and ryzen 5800x paired with rtx 3080. Give me your opinion ? the question isn't "is it worth it" i just want more and faster ram. Please give me your opinion which ram kit would you take ?

3800 is about the maximum you can do with a Ryzen 5000 series CPU and not all of them will actually work at that speed due to Infinity Fabric and how it relates to RAM speed. This is why with Ryzen 5000 its recommended a 3600mhz kit as its almost a 100% guarantee it will work properly. You can uncouple the Fclock and RAM speeds, but that introduces a lot of other variables and complications and tunings that the average user likely will not want to do.

You will want to go with a 2x16 Dual Rank kit rather than 4x8 if you want 32gb as its easier on the IMC of the CPU as well, regardless of what Die a Memory kit uses.
