How to adapt a 3pin fans to 5 pin fan controller?

Sheperad306

I recently bought new 140mm fans, however there all 3 pins which physical dont connect to 5 pin. I want still use the fans as they fit the case have good performance for their price. Im plan on buying his adapter(https://www.amazon.com), will it do the job? If not please inform me how to address the issue.

First of all, welcome to the forums.

Fan hubs are a good plan for adapting 3 pin to 4 pin for load control on the fans, that adapter looks like it could work.

What case it this? Is that a RGB fan controller? Even if you force the 4pin fan header to it, in worst case you kill the fan and/or the controller.

Your motherboard should have 3pin and 4pin fan header, why not connect the fans there?

The case I do not know, this pc is a prebuilt ive added onto over time. I do have the motherboard (https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/A320Mac/index.asp), and yes it is an RGB Fan controller. I didnt know otherwise I could connect the adapter to it for power. How should I properly do about adding the fans(Artic p14).
