Ram speed stuck at 2133 B450.

No matter what i do whether i set the xmp on or manually setting it to 3600 it defaults to 2133 in bios and in windows.

What can i do? i'm missing out on some performance.

Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32gigs @  3600

Ryzen 9 5900x

RX 6900XT

So I took out the two other 16gb sticks and now it runs at 3600. Why can't I run these 4 sticks at 3600? They're both the same

I had a set of corsair vengeance 3600 mhz sticks and decided to upgrade to 32gigs so i bought another set of the same kit, i can't get both to run at the rated speed of 3600 together its just defaults to 2133.

if i take the other set out its runs perfectly fine at 3600. i already tried bumping the voltage and nothing..

Probably not exactly the same. The version number may differ. The version number is written on the label on the sticks, next to the voltage. What's the version number of each kit?

What's the model number of each kit? It's something like CMW16GX4M2D3600C18

4.32 has some random Samsung MICs. 3.32 is Micron with I think E-die.

Corsair uses random MICs they can buy for their memory modules and bring them with the same modelnumber and same SKU. Mixing different MICs with Ryzen don't run very well like you noticed. Avoid Corsair in a Ryzen setup except Ryzen optimized RAM with a Z in the model number like CMW32GX4M2Z3600C18.

What I should do: return the new kit, sell the old kit and buy 2x16GB Ryzen optimized Corsair or switch to Crucial because Crucial always works flawless.

Manufacturers very often switch out dies based on cost and availability, without changing the model number. Adding a second kit to an existing one is never guaranteed, and you're almost always better off flipping the original kit on the used market and just buying a new kit of the capacity you need.

It sometimes helps if you run each kit in a separate channel, though. You hopefully had the original kit populating both channels, so try moving one of the sticks.
