After doing much research all morning, I decided upon a Super Flower SF-850F14HG(BK) Leadex III Gold 850W 80 Plus Gold Fully Modular Black Desktop Power Supply who apparently is a great OEM and for the same price of the 750w one.

Hey guys, I have to upgrade my 450w PSU for my new RTX 3060, do you guys have any recommendations?

My specs are, with the new GPU included, a RTX 3060, i7 7700K, 16 GB DDR4 Ram, 1tb HDD, 1 tb SSD, 500 GB SSD, on a Z270 Tomahawk motherboard.

I have been looking at the Cooler Master MWE Gold 750 ATX Power Supply Unit WO (750W)(Black)

I am not the most knowledgeable when it comes to PSUs, but my understanding is for your setup a 750w PSU is overkill. Then again going over is much better than being under with the wattage for a PSU. I have a 3070 and paired it with a 650w PSU and its works great.

Brand and model of 450w: Huntkey GS-550 Power Supply (12cm Fan)

I stay in South Africa and the link to the new one is: https://www.loot.co.za/product/cooler-master-mwe-gold-750-atx-power-supply-unit-wo-75/njmm-6163-g560
