Can you control the speed of 3-pin fans if you connect them to a fan splitter?

F776

I'm interested in buying the be quiet! Pure Base 500DX case, but my motherboard only has one system fan header. In order to connect the 3 fans included with the case I'd need to buy a fan splitter, however, I don't know if I'd be able to control the fans' speed. My motherboard (h510 h m) can control the speed of a 3-pin fan if I connect it directly into SYS_FAN, but would a fan splitter or a fan hub (like the one in the picture attached) work the same way? Please help. Thank you so much.

yes should work. it will need one pwm fan thow and thow fans will follow that pwm fan speed so if there different you can get different rpms.

No. Three pin fans will run at full speed with that type of splitter.
