DOES ANYBODY HAVE THE SOFT COPY OF SONY PICTURE PACKAGE?

I have this old Sony Hi8 tape handycam.....ig from 2005......Basically there are a lot of tapes that are not converted to digital and all the photo studios we asked told that they stopped converting tapes to digital long back....Those tapes have a lot of memories which I wish to make it digital....

I dont have the CD for sony picture package

I would not mind installing windows xp on a pc from using this app but there are a lot of memories in the tapes

so if you guys have it by chance can you please share the software?

the model of the handycam is DCR-TRV285E

I TRIED "SONY PLAY MEMORIES" BUT IT DID NOT RECOGONISE THIS HANDYCAM....

When I worked at SamsClub while we did offer a service, it was sub contracted out to YesVideo, we would mail them the tapes and they would send them back finished. You might have to look in to an online service.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

How does the camera hook to PC? FireWire? Another option would be to use analog video out cables and get cheap capture card that can input analog video. Then you can use any recording software starting from OBS. This same method you could use with VHS tapes if you have suitable player with analog video output.
