Community Rank displays over New Member

This should now be handled correctly - The new member badge now displays on the top right of the user profile now.

Appears the Community Rank icon has a higher priority than the new member when it comes to display on the Profile Picture. I think it would be more beneficial for people that are new to have the New Member icon than there community Rank for the first 30 days like previous to help people identify if they're new in the community or not.

Ohhhh, that makes so much sense now why the "New Member" tag was move to the top of the user profile. It was so both could be displayed at the same time. It would make more sense to just hide the rank badge when it's a new member tho. Will see about doing that.

The community rank icon also displays over the top of usernames. Not as noticeable for people with lower case characters, but more noticeable on names with uppercase or numbers.

It's also strangely placed on mobile view.

I think no matter where you put it it'll be in the way of something. There's really not much point displaying the rank icon on the author panel next to posts and I don't think we'd lose anything by hiding it. Member ranks/icons can still be viewed from the profile page.

Instead of the icon, where it says member, add the word new in front of Member (New Member) until the first 100 post or first 50 posts then it changes automatically to member. (If this forum can produce such a thing)

The member icon is part of the member "ranks", which are Newbie, Member, Veteran, Fanatic... which is based [largely] on post count.

The "Member" text under the profile picture displays the group the member belongs to, which is "Member" for most people, but also includes groups for Moderator, Administrator, LMG Staff, Floatplane Staff, Bronze Contributor, Gold Contributor - people with different permissions

We could make a new group for "New Member" with identical permissions to Member and automatically transition them over to Member after a certain time period, but is there benefit in branding new people as new?

After a quick look that isn't going to be as trivial as I initially thought, so without any good reason for it I don't think there's any plans for that at the moment.

I've noticed, new users had the hand before but not anymore, guessing this is a bug.

Also, all of the rest simply get the rocket or is there going to be more icons in the future?

The Rocket is the default icon that is being looked at to be replaced.
