High power usage in Windows 10/11 on Zephyrus G14 (G401IU-HE094T)

EllieTheFennec

Hi, I have a problem that my laptop sometimes suddenly starts using a lot of power (30+ Watts while i usually get 6-12 when watching youtube). Restarting fixes it temporarely, but it quickly comes back. CPU and iGPU temps also go up (normally get around 50° C, shoots up to 70-80). CPU, GPU, memory and drive usage are all normal.

What I've tried:

Updating Windows, drivers and BIOS.

All the common tricks to save battery (turning down brightness, disabling wifi and bluetooth etc.).

Disconnecting all peripherals.
Closing all open programs.
Disabling autostart programs.
resetting powerscheme settings (alway have balanced, powersave doesn't help).
Running diagnostics .
Reinstalling Windows, many times. Helps for a few days, but then it comes back.
Changing to a different SSD.
Taking out one RAM stick.

Some stuff I've been able to figure out:
It does not happen in Linux (Tried Manjaro). And no I will not switch to linux.
Running powercfg /energy shows nothing out of the ordinary.
Running powercfg /systempowerreport shows that "Unknown [NONE]" is using a lot of power (see attatchment).

The laptop is still under warranty but I'm not really able to send it back to the store because I need it for school, but I am willing to do it eventually.
All numbers have been measured with HWiNFO64.
