Is it bad that the computer goes to sleep during defragmentation?

My computer's sleep mode is set to one hour and I was defragmenting my hard disk drive, after I woke up, I turned on my computer and Defraggler was at 98% with "15 minutes left" and continued defragmenting where it left off.

I've read posts online that shutting down your computer while defragmenting will corrupt your files, but will sleep mode do the same thing? I mean it did continue where it left off, is that good or bad? Will my files be corrupted because of the sleep mode even though it continued where it left off?

Modern Windows should automatically run defrag in the background whenever the computer is idle. With the exception of SSDs, where a defrag isn't really useful and can actually be detrimental to the drive's longevity.

That being said, it should be fine, especially since the program continued where it was. During sleep mode the computer's RAM stays powered on, so there should be little risk of data loss.
