Is this worth it? (AUD$)

I sure wouldn't pay that much for a 7700K system. That CPU is nearly 5 years old at this point. 

 

Edit: just saw AUD. Still a bit high IMO.

Is it worth upgrading? I could get the price down to 1500.

why would you pay 1500 for tech that old. I fully understand theres a silicon shortage but theres not THAT much of a shortage that you need to spend new pc money on an old platform like that
