Laptop Gpu Vram

Hi ,

I am buying a laptop with rtx3080 8 gb vram and screen is 1080p . As per gaming performance with same tdp and at 1080p does 8gb vram differ too much with 16gb vram ?

If your question is "Is 8 GB of VRAM enough for 1080p?" Then yes, it is.

However, I would advise you that an RTX 3080 mobile for 1080p is a little overkill, you might want to consider a 3060 or a 3070 mobile at best and use the money you saved to buy some games on Steam, unless you really want that Ray Tracing goodness.
