I did not get into bios. However I did replace my mobo and that seemed to fix the issue. Asrock sold me a broken board. I have a TUF Gaming B550-Plus which I got for $120 now.

Hey all, I decided to build my own pc but opted for integrated graphic due to the current market. I got a Ryzen 5 5600G and paired it with an Asrock Phantom Gaming 4. The BIOS is up to date but I am getting a VGA error and there is no video display. It posts with 3000 and 4000 series processors but no 5000s. I exchanged to CPU already but I'm still getting the same problem. Anybody had the same problem before and/or has a solution?

Specs:

5600G

B550 Asrock Phantom Gaming 4

Silicon Power 16GB 3200

EVGA 500 80+ Gold

did you tried diffrent display output connectivity?

if it does not work try checking for update again

don't try vga try hdmi and display prt

if anything works it might be a port dead problem in your mobo

Pls Mark a solution as a solution, would be really helpful.

BTW pls correct me, iam really stoobid at times.

I have tried different cables and other display methods. I'm using HDMI, the error on the mobo is called 'VGA'. The port works fine, the guys at Microcenter got it to post with the same board and everything but using a different CPU. I'm pretty sure the BIOS is the most up to date.

I do not think they did any of those steps. I don't have a working GPU either. (Sorry, I'm not leaving you with many ways to help)

it's ok

errors are common

anyways

i thnk so it is a problem with the motherboard

                       or...

it is a problem with the cpu...

check the cpu pins below

are any of them bent?

if not i think so it is a problem with your mother board

try resetting cmos

The mobo is fine, it works with other CPUs. The pins are good too, I checked before installing. I just tried resetting the cmos but the error is still there.

oh ok

you should've bought a low profile gpu instead of igpu because problems like this for amd comes

be carefull next time

if you want you can go buy a gt1030 now itself if it is available in microcentre
