Issue with laptop after impact!

My parents laptop started to malfunction after they drop something on it. After it starts, its just brings up the windows repair screen instead of a booting. I've tryed all the "fix it" and "repair" options but I suspect it's hardware based. Anybody had similar issue before or have a clue on what part could be damaged/ need to replaced. Since its booting into the windows repair screen it cant be the hard drive and there is no initial beeping indicating something is not working hardware wise.

Do you have another 2.5" or M.2 (depending on your laptop) drive with an operating system?
Try replacing it, to check if it's a broken drive. Might be the case if it's a mechenical one (HDD).

I was able to finally run a diagnostics test and all came back working expect for the hard drive. Which is weird cause it shows up in the bois and selectable as a boot device but I assume the reader/writer head got damaged. Thanks for the blind suggestion anyway
