Crysis 2 & 3 Remastered RT problem

Hi,

 

Whenever I activate RT in Crysis 2 or 3 Remastered my game always crashes to desktop. Without RT on it runs fine.

 

Other RT games eg Control run fine.

 

I have tried several different video drivers and clean installed the video driver as well.

 

GPU is a 2080 Super running stock, CPU i9 9900K also running stock.

 

Anyone have an idea what could be causing this ?

Hi,

 

I got the same problem with an RTX 3090 and a Ryzen 5800x.

 

I already contacted the devs on the official discord of Crysis and they said they will investigate and try to reproduce the crash on their side.

 

Maybe you can join the discord and post too so they see it may be a common problem and not just me ?

Crysis is infamous for being very performance intensive, so maybe the addition of RT is too much even for your 2080S.

 

Unlikely, I know, but if it's not a software specific performance related issue then wouldn't you have issues with other games?

Same problem with 3080 TI and Ryzen 5800x.

Latest game updates didn't solve the problem.
