Asus PA278QV Uniformity

Mimi-Ki

Hello. I would like to ask a kinda subjective question for any monitor enthusiasts or people with a better eye for them than me.

I recently got an Asus ProArt monitor and I know no panel is perfect and I know I shan’t get perfect uniformity on a cheap €300 monitor yet I want a different subjective observation on the panel uniformity as I might be overanalysing it in an unrealistic way for the price point and expected panel accuracy. In your view is it bad, acceptable, fine, whatever?

Note I’m asking before buying a colorimeter and/or RMAing due an “issue” that might not be an issue and to avoid wasting people's time with what might be an overblown issue on my side.I also added a video to show it off better from various angles.

PS.: The purple one looks odd due camera, irl looks uniform so does blue. Do excuse my poor English as I am German.

It looks good to me. And imo these uniformity tests are pretty useless. As long as the uniformity isn't distracting in real world content, then it's not "bad" imo.

Keep in mind that we're limited by our own monitor's uniformity when checking your screenshots...

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
