Corsair RM650X (2018) vs Seasonic GX-650 Gold

Seasonic is $10 cheaper.

 

Which one would you go for?

 

I read somewhere that the Seasonic is FDB fan, while RM650x has ball bearing fan?  does that make sense?

The Corsair RMx series offers great PSUs for any system. I'm sure others on here may be able to provide more info about the Seasonic GX PSU, but this is not rated on the forums PSU Tier List, whereas the RMx is at Tier A (the highest). 

 

I'd go with the Corsair RM650x.

It is on the tier list. It's tier A in blue, RM650x is tier A gold.

 

But yes, it's worth the 10 more. I have it myself too and the fan never spins (my system uses ~150-200w under load

Oh, I go off of the spreadsheet list as that has more up to date changes (hopefully). 

 

RM650x I do know about being in tier A gold status.
