What speed and latency

wanting to get 32gb of ram but idk to either get 3600 c18 or 3200 c16 ive seen vids about 3600 getting higher fps but stutters randomly and has worse 0.1 and 1 percent lows and i need low profile ram like either corsair lpx or hyperx fury also im getting a little bit of a cpu bottleneck so  3600 c16 would be best for me but i see no low profile 32gb kits like that

if your using the 10700k ram speed isnt as important as ryzen. 3200 will do you just fine.

also why do you need low profile ram?

its my deepcool assassin 3 and case preventing me but the only step higher is an aio but they tend to be louder is well

3200 CL14 if you can afford it.

You can just switch the fan position front to back to back to front.

O im so dumb lol would it affect cpu temps at all also yh im on a tight budget do it would have to be c16

In theory no, if you have an exhaust fan on the back, probably better to switch it to intake, flip one on the front as a subtitute.

3600MHz CL18 and 3200MHz CL16 both have the same total latency. 3600MHz obviously has more bandwidth. I'm not sure where you got your information, but you're not going to get *worse* performance from 3600MHz CL18 in any scenario. It's undeniably better. However, you probably don't need more than 3200MHz here, so it's up to you really.

i actually went to my bros house for a lan and has 3600mhz c18 and didnt see any stutters he has a 11900k 3080 ti and looked really smooth most likely for all 3parts but i think i might go with 3600mhz c18 and i think intel cares less about cas then amd and is local and cheap

Yeah it's fine, and again, either way the total latency is the same. It's not a platform thing. Ryzen likes lower latency in general, but even if you had Ryzen, there'd still be no functional difference between these two kits as far as latency is concerned.
