Is it normal that my two HDD Drives still work after running more than 8 years each?

It's not that unusual. Consumer drives can generally be expected to last about 50,000-100,000 hours, and even more if they aren't restarted often. Given you've apparently only shut down your computer 650 times in 8.5 years I'm not that surprised.
