Upgrading from 7600k to 5600x (with pictures)

Blame @Spotty for this "build log" (not the upgrade).

 

After 4 and a half years it was time to upgrade my CPU, though i also just wanted to get off itx because it didn't make sense in my new case (that i've had for about 2 years anyway)

I didn't "need" to get a overkill cooler, but my existing one didn't have the mounting hardware for AM4 and couldn't find the upgrade kit anywhere in stock when i bought it, so what ever.

First we need to take out my old GPU, that im keeping (EVGA 2060Super <letters>)

Then rip out the cables that are in the way

yeah, i have a rare skin condition called "anime". i makes me look cell shaded and gives me cat ears.

Yeah, it's a well known condition in Asia particularly in Japan. I've heard it's started to spread recently.
