First PC For about $500/540€

schokoshock

Budget (including currency): about $500/540€

Country: Germany

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming, Streaming, Editing and Coding

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I want a PC with which I can game, stream and edit and sometimes code, but since I haven't build a PC before I don't exactly know which Components work together the best for the price.

In the futer I want to upgrade the PC from 2 to 4 RAM sticks and be able to work with dual Monitor. It would also be nice if games could run about 1080p.

Suggestions for Keyboards (60%) for under $70 would be also verry appreciated.

That's what I came up with:

Start looking for used parts, I would say.  And I would probably take Iris XE integrated graphics over a GT730 dedicated graphics.  I can't imagine going THAT many generations of GPU back.

If you have to build a fully new system, this isn't a bad option. I personally would swap the CPU to an i3 10100 non-F and ditch the GT 730, since it's not really going to help in any meaningful way.

If you aren't opposed to buying used, the gold standard for the ~$500 computer build is always a used i7 Optiplex with a GPU/RAM/SSD/PSU upgrade (as needed). In the states you can find those Optiplexes and similar prebuilts for $200, leaving you with $200 for a decent GPU and everything else you might need. Your market probably will differ, but the reasons why the Optiplex and similar are so cheap will be the same, offices and schools lease them, and ~5 years later they upgrade them, and used ones flood the market. If you're patient and know where to look and who to ask, you can get a really good deal on one and get a pretty nice gaming PC/workstation for cheap.

Here what you can build:

AMD Ryzen 5 5600G

Gigabyte B550M DS3H

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16

~400W PSU

This will be around 400-450 Euros, Get a cheap case + ~30-40 euros and storage, 250GB SSD + 1TB HDD will be good option.

This build give you much faster CPU and good enough iGPU.

I'd just buy a laptop for that price range honestly

Edit: I mean... I would... you can still use a mediocre $500 laptop after you save up enough to build a desktop... and to build a desktop on that budget, in this market, you'll be compromising on all of your parts so much--just to get something functional--that once you go to "upgrade", you'll have to replace everything you already had and it won't be nice enough for resale... there's zero chance you fit a gpu into that budget... so.... yea... I'd just buy a laptop

also... for a desktop you'll still need: monitor/keyboard/mouse/headset or speakers/etc.... all of that comes with the laptop... and if you had budget set aside for that you can get a nicer laptop lol
