RGB UpHere Fans: RGB Issue

So I recently bought a pack of UpHere's 3-Pack RGB ring fans (Have in the past but it seemed fine. New one has some differences), and while attempting to toggle the speed, the fan RGB keeps cutting out completely and I have to spam the OFF/ON button's repeatedly to get them to turn back on. I tried with a different controllers, and it doesn't seem to be the issue, it has something to do with the fan hub. I'm a little worried about my hub being defective and causing problems even as far as fire, ect. Should I just buy another hub or not worry about it?
